Today is lovely. After breakfast with Sabrina P. during which I had a "liver cleanse" juice (beets, apples, lemons, ginger, parsley and spinach), I went home and made a salad for Sabby Pants and myself. We packed a picnic basket with coconut juice and headed for Wakeham Park. The park was unexpectedly perfect minus the weird-looking flies that swarmed over to us. This spurred Sab to use the books we brought, sandwiching them to their deaths mid-air.
I am starting
A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller. I have read most of his books and my favorites are
Blue Like Jazz and
Searching for God Knows What. I began reading, but fell asleep of course... It was warm and I was laying on a blanket! Oh well, I will tell you how the book goes after I take a nap.
I love the way the sun shines through the window in my room.
